Welcome to Mia's Core Studio
Hi and welcome to Mia's Core Studio website. This website offers Comox Valley residents several options to improve their quality of life through improved health, including strength, mobility, agility and balance; improved movement with activities of daily life; pain management and pain reduction; and a strategic, scientifically based approach to the concept of exercise, health and nutrition.
The Studio will be closed for the months of July and August. Classes will resume on September 7th.

All programs offered at The Core are medically approved and have been developed from protocols established through research by The American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehabilitation Professionals, whose mandate is to bride the gap between the medical community and the fitness community. Classes include an educational component along with a flexibility, strength, balance and proprioception component - all laced with a heavy dose of humour and compassion. Regardless of whether you are coming back from a knee replacement at 70 or a meniscal repair as a competitive runner at 35 - there is an appropriate class meant to challenge you by gently nudging you towards your limit without pushing you over the edge.
Do you have to be injured or looking to lose weight to participate? Absolutely not. Join me at The Core Fitness Studio for a new approach to Creative, Original, Restorative Exercise Programs including Core Level 1 and 2; Transformation Program; Functional Fitness for Senior and Functional Fitness for Chronic Pain; Cranky Hip and Knee; the popular Happy Back and much more.
